Community Outreach

Commitment to service carries over into Stong Fire Protection's contributions to the community. Both family members and co-workers enthusiastically support charitable efforts, such as Toys for Tots, holiday food drives, and needs specific to our area. Examples of the latter include:

CITY TEAM MINISTRIES

We have been instrumental in the City Team's development since its inception in Chester over ten years ago. When the Ministries purchased an abandoned building in Chester, Joseph Stong, Inc. designed, developed and installed the sprinkler safety system, the plumbing, the heat and the air conditioning. Recently we worked closely with them to renovate the third floor, which had been unusable.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

When Habitat designated a house for rehab, they had to find a secure storage area for materials. Their practice was to purchase another house, and store things there. That solution was neither practical nor cost efficient. Realizing this and wanting to help, our company donated 1,800 square feet of warehouse space allowing Habitat for Humanity to take donations from suppliers and to keep them in an organized and efficient manner.
